Actually, the only way you can say the problem isn't on their side...

... is to check the logs on your side and determine when their servers connect to your servers. Have them send a message to both your Domino and email accounts. If the logs show that their server connected to your server at roughly the same time as you get the message in your gmail account, then the problem is indeed on your side. If not, though, if there is a long delay before their server connects to your server, then the problem is on their side, or somewhere in between.
